Dollywink Eyeshadow

So I finally got my hands on the Dolly Wink eyeshadow in 04 Green Pink!! I had been waiting for this and of course, I couldn't resist the pink + green colours available on a single palette. Why, it's so convenient to head out with just one palette (:

Box packaging is pretty detailed and colourful.

Step-by-step instructions on how to create the look is provided as well! I found that extra touch really nice, considering that these steps are usually found in Japanese magazines and not printed on the packaging of products.

The final look with false lashes. Of course, it's up to you to play with the colours but this is the basic look for this palette (:

It's a pretty flat palette and so it's easy to store in your makeup pouch or at home.

Don't you just love the colours??? Pretty colours make me happy! What attracted me was really just the green and pink bits of this palette. The other two colours are pretty much reasily available so I wasn't concerned about them. Colours are true to the photos.

Swatches! I love the swatches for the first 3 colours. They were pigmented and when applied, the colours do stand out! So, if you do use them, people will actually be able to tell that you're using green and pink. The darkest colour, a greyish black wasn't that pigmented and fantastic but I'm not complaining because 3/4 is good enough for me (for now).

I'm planning to get the other palette with blue + orange and I'm already excited just thinking about it! I love those colours alot because they bring about a fresh feel. Like the other products that I've reviewed so far, Dolly Wink eye shadow palettes can be found at Watsons for $32.90. A little pricey as compared to the other drug store bands like Majolica, Kate and Fasio (around $20-$25 each) but nonetheless, worth getting.

  1. can you use it your face instead of just showing the colours on your hands? (=and maybe a video?
